ENG Aletria is a basic relaxed fit raglan sweater with a wide, round 2 x 2 rib neckline and long sleeves. The diamond shaped dark brown diamonds are knitted on a variegated yellow background using a simple fair isle technic that carries no floats on the inside of the fabric.

Pure Portuguese wool, with no synthetic fibers or chemical treatments. Machine knitted and finished by hand.

Aletria is one of the most traditional Portuguese desserts around Christmas time and is a simple concoction of milk, sugar, angel hair pasta and eggs perfumed with a lemon rind and often served with a decoration of cinnamon lines that form a diamond shape pattern. The word derives from the Arab al-ytria which in turn derives from the Aramaic.
